The Worldwide Launch of Honda’s 1st Small Electrical Engine

The project

The eGX, the first fully electrical small engine from Honda, enjoyed its world premiere at Bauma, the world’s largest trade fair in the construction industry. A true launch that didn’t miss impact! We showed off with a LED wall of no less than 10 meters long by 4 meters high. We also developed the ultimate video with 3D-animations of the engines, rotations, special effects, greenkey-capturing and aftereffects…, designed the booth, organized and managed building the stand, took care of all logistical matters and arranged simply everything, up to small pieces of chocolate served with coffee. Our famous clients such as Honda need stands that truly stand out. Time after time, for over 20 years now, we deliver the most impactful exhibition stands that makes Honda shine! That’s what we’re born for.

The Challenge

The challenge for this launch was that Honda sells these engines under the Honda name but also under third party brands. This created an additional difficulty as it was impossible for us to show real appliances (generators, compactor plates, pumps, etc) that were branded.

The Solution

As a solution we built a transparent plexiglass compactor plate to demonstrate the new engine. This brand-neutral concept-appliance made it possible to focus exclusively on the excellence of the Honda engine in a high-tech presentation.

The Result

The worldwide launch at Bauma was a gigantic success. Everyone was impressed and due to the plexiglass compactor and the huge LED-wall and the amazing tailormade video the entire exhibition booth looked as high-tech as the new electrical engine. Honda’s response after designing the stand says it all: “Great job done.”
