The advertising world is constantly changing. New trends, new platforms, new requirements. As a result, our work is also changing. What remains are our employees. They are our most important asset. For us, it is obvious that we should also focus on them in our employer branding and make them our brand ambassadors.
The Challenge
The goal was to reach potential new employees in the areas of graphic and motion design, digital and social media marketing as well as account and project management.
We aimed to target potential applicants who are experienced in their field of expertise and who are open for new possibilities and opportunities.
The Solution
In order to fill the open positions in the best possible way, we launched an extensive recruiting campaign with a focus on applications in the social media environment. The first step in the planned recruiting campaign was to survey the existing employees to get a clear vision of the already established measures at Hartinger Consulting that have a clear added value for them.
In an in-depth analysis, we found that applicants from job portals have mostly not been a good fit for our team in recent years. Therefore, we skipped job portals and focused on professionals with industry experience that may not be looking for a job at all because they usually are in an upstanding employment. The aim was to communicate the many advantages with and through our employees in an authentic and appealing way through social media. Video and image material as well as meaningful illustrations from everyday working life put our employees in the spotlight.
The Result
The recruiting campaign was communicated to future colleagues via our website and social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Thanks to the successful implementation of the recruiting campaign, we were able to recruit eight new employees from the above-mentioned areas within a very short time. Six of them are still on board today.
