The project

A home away from home. That is the Weinlandhof Hotel in midst the
gorgeous rolling hills of southern Styria, also known as the Styrian Tuscany.

The Challenge

A guest communication tool that promotes the Weinlandhof Hotel as a
year-round holiday destination. The Weinlandhof’s intention was to move
away from the classic image/offer folder towards an integrated solution
that also provides added value to the target audience.

The Solution

The Weinlandhof magazine was designed with guest communication
in mind – not to promote holiday offers. This replaces the traditional
image/offer folder and boosts the desire to visit South Styria for a
holiday. Featuring seasonal stories, interviews and photo galleries, readers
can join in with life at the guesthouse and get to know the Weinlandhof, the
region and the people coming in and out of its doors. The magazine also contains
tips that provide added value at home, such as how to look after your
garden properly, cooking recipes and much more. Large format images
and original illustrations typify the magazine. It is printed on fine
structured paper which stirs the senses and produces a high degree
of emotionality. This attention to detail comes as no surprise; rather, it
is something that is also evident in the ambience of the Weinlandhof.
There too, guests can enjoy the numerous subtle decorative touches in
all corners.

The Result

The magazine attracts new visitors and regular guests to connect with
what ‘s going on at the guesthouse, and to help them learn more about
the business, the region and its people.
