The organisation of a national event

The project

Craftworkers’ Day is an initiative of the du FPS Economy organised with the support of the Federal Minister for SMEs and self-employed workers which aims to highlight Belgian craft workers among the general public.
Since this day was created in 2006, the FPS Economy has selected Expansion ten times to manage the overall coordination (360°) of the event. Creation of a communication concept, production of versions for various communication media (posters, banners, flyers, press releases, TV commercial, radio commercial, etc.), creation and management of the website, search for media and relay partners, design and management of the media communication plan (purchase, negotiation, schedule follow-up), etc. This is a national campaign conducted in French and Dutch. Results: every year, over 500 craft workers have held open days and almost 50,000 visitors have taken part in this national day.
