The project
Bad Reichenhaller brings the treasures of the Alps to your domestic cuisine and an original flavour to your food.
The Challenge
For the consumer it is simply salt, but for Bad Reichenhaller it is THE salt.
The Solution
We made the leap from simple spice to a Love Brand with real added value and exciting content. taste! collaborated with the popular music App Shazam to entice the Alpine world with the slogan: “Discover the Alpine world”. A Shazam code was printed on millions of packs; scanning it visitors could obtain a peak into a virtual 3D brand on their smartphones, not just once but again and again. They could discover the Salzbergwerk Berchtesgaden (salt mine) using Google Tours technology in the form of a 360° experience. Alternatively, all 14 highlights from the salt mine could also be viewed with Google Cardboard as a virtual reality tour. Social media channels, Pinterest and the company’s own blog were used to transport the notion of “Pure Inspiration” with creative ideas on baking, cooking and DIY.
The Result
Through relevant content taste! brought the consumers to deal with the product and the brand. Over 3 million users were reached on Facebook and the campaign raised the sales substantially
